His co-op rage game Paddle Paddle Paddle launched with a moderate 11k wishlists.

His outreach engine was not email. It was Twitter DMs.
On Twitter he can see when a streamer opens his message. Even a non-reply is a signal. Email, in his words, felt like talking to a wall.
