When I was doing research as a post doc I watched hundreds of hours of Rumble videos. So much crap, that I actually missed David Icke videos, cause at least he was interesting and charming. The rest, not so much.
Now I watch Love Island UK to erase the hours of hate I watch.

One thing I learned when I was just out of college and watching 6-8 hours of Fox News a day for my research job at Media Matters: Ingesting hours of propaganda on a daily basis changes you, no matter how smart you think you are. If you don't notice the changes, that just makes you an easier mark.

it's remarkable how like, you can visibly notice how people who still use X regularly are either getting dragged to the right (if on the centre-left or centre) or just getting more toxic in general
