Well that went a lot better. No glue or grit in turnouts. I erred on the side of caution so there will be some very careful close up work. For the most part, the wire runs disappeared nicely. Still some cleaning to do before I can run any #modelTrains

Making good progress on the layout, almost all the main buildings are built and starting to get painted, and some of the fun paintwork is getting done. Here is a mural for the side of one of the town buildings.
