this is not constrained to comics, but it’s pretty visible in comics…the belt continues to tighten for original work (what was once 4-5 issues is now 3, etc) but licensing Butt Face & the Fart Crew for a 12 issue series is no problem
any time an IP from decades ago is revived as a comic, i lose probably 6 weeks off of my life
