After realizing teaching wasn’t the right fit, Olivia Jean Bignall found her calling as a mechanic apprentice. 🔧 Now she’s building skills, solving problems, and loving the work. Apprentice applications are expected to open later this summer: metrotransit.org/mechanic-hiring
During a weeklong “Bus Camp,” children from Bright Prospects Cooperative Preschool visited our North Loop Garage for a behind-the-scenes tour. They met Skip Traffic, rode through a bus wash, explored maintenance training modules, and saw the parts machine in action. 🚌✨
