Spending a sunny Sunday evening planning a trip to London with @bad-girls-bad-boy.bsky.social. I couldn’t be happier.

The perks of having a barista in the family. Home after an early bakery shift with excellent coffee made by my son. @bad-girls-bad-boy.bsky.social has trained him well.

I’m pretty sure I’m now shopping for things that will look pretty in my new bowls. I’m ok with this.

Just finished the last episode of The Newsroom. I’m ugly crying and @bad-girls-bad-boy.bsky.social is trying very hard not to.

Having a hospitality business is hard, but I’m incredibly grateful to spend my days with people I love. One of our young bakers (funny, hardworking and incredibly loyal) calls @bad-girls-bad-boy.bsky.social her work mum and dad. She wanted me to try a bake she was working on and left this for me. ❤️

Almost everything we made today included beautiful, local berries.

How did I get to the ripe old age of 55 and not know about orange espresso tonic? Making up for lost time with my third in two days. @bad-girls-bad-boy.bsky.social

I’m obsessed strawberries at the moment. Today’s favourite bake is this roasted strawberry and white chocolate loaf.
