But this is what happens when you conflate sex work and sex trafficking.
Sex work is consensual. Trafficking is not.
Removing penalties for sex work does not legalize trafficking, rape, or anything else that isn't sex work.
One of the biggest lies about decriminalization is that it would remove penalties for trafficking.
This is absolutely false. It's like arguing that if we remove criminal penalties for Marijuana possession it's somehow now magically legal to make someone transport drugs for you against their will.
