🚨 Iran military command HQ:
“The Strait of Hormuz is declared closed to all types of vessels, including oil tankers and commercial ships. Any such traffic will be targeted.”
Video of whale necropolis:
wonder if oil prices will begin to experience reality soon enough
CENTCOM refers to Iran’s supposed “unwarranted and continued aggression”— but the reality is the US and Israel initiated this war without provocation and started off with decapitation strikes that killed their top military and civilian leaders, including the spiritual leader for much of the country.
Fwiw, I don’t read his words as telegraphing terrorist attacks on civilian targets.
We have been trained to view the Iranians as “terrorists,” but, if you’ve watched Iran’s behavior during this conflict, they have focused on oil and military targets.
(The same cannot be said of the US and Israel.)
I agree with the assessment of Danny Citrinowicz, former head of the Iran branch of Israeli defense intelligence and outspoken critic of this misguided war—his short analysis here is worth reading:
Whale necropolis discovered:
• 745 miles long
• Dates back 5.3 million years
• Teeming with life that “may be new to science”
🚨 CENTCOM confirms US strikes against Iran are underway:
US military and military-adjacent targets outside the region are the most likely targets related to this statement, IF Iran maintains its current operational behavior.
They’ve been relatively disciplined in that regard so far.
But anything can happen in war, including mistakes, so we’ll see.
⚠️ Head of Iran parliament national security commission warns:
“This time, the war won't be limited to the region.”
