We, at Queer Vox, wish all our members and the LGBTQIA+ community a most-happy Pride Month!
From its humble origins as the Christopher Street Day protest, to the many who have laid their lives down for self-expression and love, please be safe and mindful when celebrating.
I’m really sad that we have a generation of people who think identity is something you buy at the store.
That it’s pronoun pins and Pride flags and whatever media is pandering for the month of June.
You are real outside the artifice.
Your essence is not a commodity.
Be mindful of corporations who only show up in June.
Be patient in conversations so allies remain allied.
Be caring in the face of suppression.
Be kind even when safety is stripped from you.
Be careful in actions affecting our community.
And, most of all:
Be unapologetic in who you are.
Hi! I'm ButterflyLatte, and I love pretty colors, otome, visual novels, etc. I'm happy to draw your yumes and to draw for your games!

WHAT DAY IS IT
“Normal” is an illusion born of fear🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
You are exactly who you were meant to be.
One day, we won’t need pride flags or categories, for every love and identity will simply be accepted as human.
Until then, I’ll keep sending this:
Your heart is precious. Your soul is beautiful beyond any label

Harris County runoff voting is today, so a handy reminder that WE'RE the boss of our elected officials. We pay their salaries and we tell them the interests they're supposed to carry out. And we've gotten way too comfortable just letting them not do their jobs and answer to money instead of us.
