The Emperor penguin is the largest penguin, they live in Antarctica. They are monogamous. They live 15-20 years in the wild, however can live 50 years in captivity. They breed 1 egg each season.
The emperor penguin female lays one egg transfers it to the male who carries it for 65 days during which time he does not eat. When it hatches, both male and female, carry the chick for up to 55 days both feeding it until I can walk
The hoatzin (Opisthocomus hoazin) is a bizarre bird native to the Amazon and basins in South America. Famous for its bright blue face, spiky orange crest, and red eyes, notable for being the only known bird that digests food using foregut fermentation just like the cow. Lineage- 64 millions years
