It’s beyond pathetic that Europe didn’t develop any 5th generation fighter jet. Can’t expect anyone facing the Russian threat (who has access to the F35) to buy their 4th generation jets in the 2020s anymore

Europe’s F-35 dependence is largely self-inflicted. By failing to develop a 5th-generation fighter, it left frontline states no viable alternative. For nations bordering Russia, only the F-35 offered a credible long-term edge, while Europe remains divided and struggling to field a 6th-gen option
