Rashi will report to AAA St. Paul, but he fills the Twins’ 40-man roster.
The Twins halted reliever Cole Sands’ rehab assignment. He made a rehab appearance for St. Paul last Tuesday, but a setback kept him from pitching the rest of the week.
By rule, he can’t restart a rehab assignment for seven days.
