my partner was taking a long time to come back to the bedroom, so i wandered to the computer room to see what he was doing. turns out, he was building an enclosure out of blankets for baby kitten Quark because he likes to burrow underneath them. i say im the best cat dad, but it's my husband 🥰

we have to bring Quark to the vet tomorrow because he's been peeing outside his litter box. it can be a sign of health complications. it's *also* possible that he's just marking his territory, which is something Rolly did to my husband's shoes. 🤦‍♂️ cross your fingers that it's not something serious!

this is me with discourse. do i have good reason to chime in? absolutely. will i convince anyone of my points? probably not and it will likely lead to a never-ending argument. the mental cost of interacting is sometimes just too damned high so it's better to just not.
