A tiger with a mirror, an allegory on vanity. A 15th Century bench end at Lakenheath, Suffolk.
The 17th Century pulpit at Icklingham All Saints.

Eriswell. Strange quatrefoil tracery behind part of a former sedila.
Out for a west Suffolk wander. A revisit to the lovely little church at Wordwell, alone in the Breckland apart from two cottages.
The wall paintings at Lakenheath are complex, because there are at least three overlaying schemes. Here, the seated figure of St Edmund with three arrows in his right hand. He faced the seated Blessed Virgin and Christchild.
To Icklingham All Saints next. An imposing tower for a relatively small church.
