Huge movie and music nut. Classical music and Sinatra feeds my soul. Brian Wilson, Stones, Elvis, Dylan, Fleetwood Mac and Louis and Ella are my obsessions. David Lynch is my God and Robert Altman is my dad.

Now rewatching, Sweet and Lowdown (1999) by Woody Allen. What a way to end the 90’s. Easily one of his best films, and my second favorite from his 90’s era. I love everything about this film. Penn and Morton are sensational, the music is to die for. I think this is a perfect film.
Now spinning, Tom Verlaine’s debut album from 1979. One my favorite albums. So good that David Bowie covered one of his songs, Kingdom Come. 5/5

I just watched, Godzilla Vs Mechagodzilla (1974). Very entertaining. I enjoy Godzilla movies, but they always start off slow. The first hour is usually a bit of a drag but once the action kicks in, it’s off to the races. This one had a great climax.

Now rewatching, Paul Schrader's Cat People (1982). A strange and "erotic fantasy" from my favorite era, the early 80's. There was almost no one more fascinating than Nastassja Kinski during this time. Great cast and great music.

One of my favorite people on here is, Love Your Classical Music Geek, and he totally influences what I listen to. Now spinning, Holst - Planets. Conducted by Leonard Bernstein.
Now spinning one of my favorite symphonies, Camille Saint-Saëns, Symphony no. 3, or otherwise known as “The Organ Symphony.” I have several versions, but the one I’m playing is conducted by Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Organ by E Power Biggs.
Now spinning, The Everly Brothers- Roots (1968). Late into their career, the brothers released one of their very best albums ever. It came right when Country Rock was starting to take over. They really showed them all up with this masterpiece.
Now rewatching, Small Time Crooks (2000) by Woody Allen. Enjoyable fluff. Very funny but very light. Not one of his best but still very good.
