No not Aedes vigilax, this is 'Aedes phaecasiatus' from Nhulunbuy, NT species 120 on the #MozzieMonitors project on @inaturalist, and the only record of the species on the platform. While the two look similar to the trained eye they are quite distinct. www.inaturalist.org/observations...
