To mark World Environment Day, we asked Ireland Thinks to measure public opinion on the EU’s role in environmental protection. 8 in 10 Irish people think the Govt should use its upcoming Presidency of the EU to strengthen or uphold EU environmental protections. Only 1 in 8 people want them weakened.
