The Molting Grounds are so visually arresting, writing something to do them justice felt like a fool's errand. This introduction sought to compliment the gorgeous imagery, while staying out of the way enough to let the art speak for itself.
Installed Photoshop (long story) for the first time in... A decade? The aggressive AI push is horrifying. The first thing is a giant prompt to generate. Then every item I add seems to bring up some new offer to generate, stylize or reimagine with AI. I just want to make a banner please fuck off.
Great to see two excellent horrors by young directors dominating the box office. Especially with complacent mega-franchises faltering. It seems like it's the one genre immune to whatever else is happening in popular culture.
