Syndrome “basses richesses” (SBR) increasingly affects sugar beet.
Our PRO-WILD partners from IfZ look for resistant genotypes and use planthoppers to inoculate wild relatives of beet with disease-associated bacteria. 🌱🔎

In November, around 300 wheat introgression lines from crop wild relatives were sown at INRAE to study grain quality and nutritional traits. Uniform emergence so far — a promising start! 🌾
