All the Bright stuff has been so back-and-forth for so long that this seems like a very reasonable thing to lose track of during production of a film. Glad they're replacing the character and in my humble dumbass opinion, this isn't worth not donating to the kickstarter over

During production, they believed the SCP community was replacing Bright w/ Shaw. Public opinion shifted to Shaw being too poor a bandaid for the situation, and the team has been listening.
The character is being replaced final film.
