I’m in the middle of my course of these. In New York, CVS will do them for you. I forget how much I’m paying or if insurance is helping, but it’s all much easier and cheaper than when I was trying to do this in CA a couple years ago so worth revisiting even if you’ve previously bounced off

So people who never had a cervix, if you were too old to get an HPV vaccine when they first recommended them for all kids, talk to your doctor. They’ve revised the age recommendation up. HPV causes head and neck, penile, and anal cancers. We have a vaccine that prevents cancer, go get it.

They definitely have revised it up, because I just got offered the HPV vaccine on Monday for the first time in my life, at age 45!
