Mine too
I think a lot of people in my demographic haven't really grasped this, though, and keep trying to elect Democrats who are better suited for the previous era
I think we won't get out of this mess until we recognize we have to build something new, and that takes a different sort of leader
I am at heart a fairly moderate although left-leaning person. I would have preferred gradual change towards the better. But we don't really have that option anymore and I wish more people would recognize it
Any politician who promises a return to how it was is lying whether they know it or not
No way out but through, and I want us to go through to a better place
The way through is going to be scary no matter what we do, might as well aim for something great

I think about this a lot when I think about my daughters' generation
to be clear, I don't really have fully formed opinions on this! I still see kids with what seem like pretty normal career goals. I see the kids seeing through some of the worst excesses on social media. And I wonder how the kids with an interest in arts will incorporate this into their careers
so I'm not saying I think it is all horrible, just that the environment in which they are making future plans and career goals is very different now
I also think a lot about how the rise of influencers has shaped this generation's view of career paths
