Karen got quiet for a moment, looking away as she picked up her cigarette.
"I don't know everything that happened, but..after the broadcast, I looked around for Queen and..I found her just about half a yard from the back gate. She was bleeding out from the neck."

Will then took a seat in a chair beside her.
"What happened?"

Karen just shakes her head.
"Do me a favor and never pull a stunt like that again. I'd rather you not lose your title as an elite if you managed to get someone hurt."

He gives a nervous laugh, glancing to the side.
"Yes well..uh..I thought it would make things interesting. Everything worked out fine in the end. So you don't need to worry about anything."

She pulls back, brushing her tears away before going back to her seat.
"Well, I suppose it all happened when I was watching that ridiculous broadcast of you in Sinnoh with Lucian and some vampire chick. Which was a dumbass idea, by the way. Those people could have been hurt, you idiot!"

Will gave her a concerned glance as he returned the embrace.
"Karen, talk to me. I can only imagine everything I've missed since I've been in Sinnoh.."

It took Karen a moment to even acknowledge Will was there. As she turned to see him, she placed her glass on the table and rests her cigarette in her ashtray before running towards him. Karen held him in her arms, nearly squeezing him.
Her shoulders started to shake as she softly sobbed into him.

He went in, closing the door behind him and looked to Gengar. The ghost pointed towards the back.
Will wasn't the biggest fan of ghosts, but he was willing to push past that fear to check on a dear friend. He went to the back.

At the sound of the knock, Karen's Gengar slowly swung the door open. Will could find Karen sitting on the back porch. All but one light was off inside the living room.

After coming back home from being in Sinnoh, Will noticed that he had at least three missed calls and ten texts from Karen.
Well, that was alarming.
He glanced at the texts and instantly teleports to Karen's home. Standing in front of her door, he knocks.
