Don't miss this online session on Monday! I'll be talking about our lab's new directions on oxygen sensing in heart plasticity and diversity 🫀🌬️ and @zoenahas.bsky.social will tell us all about shoot branch architectures in plants 🌱 Looking forward to it!
Wonderful team, mentor and place to work. Apply!

Although the red pigments made by flowering plants and liverworts are produced by distinct chemical pathways, here we found that they are induced by homologous complexes of transcription factors. @currentbiology.bsky.social

Happy to share our new paper in @dev-journal.bsky.social . This project started while I was at Stanford with @stanfordstomata.bsky.social and was completed at @zmbp-tuebingen.bsky.social by @pablidopsis.bsky.social . Find it here: journals.biologists.com/dev/article/...
So proud to see this story finally out!🎉 We added new data since our previous preprint—transgenic barley plants with an engineered immune receptor that fights off two fungal pathogens at once. Short 🧵 and link to the original preprint thread on X👇 www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...

Tune in this coming Monday on zoom! I'll be presenting work from my PhD @slcuplants.bsky.social on how plants regulate their shoot branching architecture via auxin, strigolactone, and BRC1.
