This week's Friday pub is Sloan's. It started life as a coffee house in Morrisons Court, named after Glasgow Baillie John Morrison, back in 1797.
The cobbled courtyard was the scene of cock-fighting, and twice a week, a stagecoach would leave the Court bound for Edinburgh.
