Trump does seem like he's flailing now. I'm generally skeptical the US government doesn't approve Israeli strikes, but Yemen is closing Bab al Mandab and Trump really doesn't want high gas prices.
But if the US doesn't start treating Israel like the rogue state it is they'll keep the wars going.
