Neurospicy hardware & software developer here to discuss my love of retro games, indie development, and the parts I contribute to it. Very much into demoscene, micro computers, synthwave, and photography.

Enjoying a run through Waterdeep while hunting down Xanathar. I can't believe I'm playing this on a Commodore 64 Ultimate! Not the Amiga or MS-DOS we designed it for, but on the C64!
Eye of the Beholder.
This is spectacular. So grateful to them that I get to have this experience today. 🙏🤘

After 24 hours the colors have settled to their deepest tones and the sharpness of the photo is enhanced.
The Lomography Instant Boston is an Aperture based camera with a fixed shutter (except bulb mode) while the Instax Mini 99 is a Shutter based camera with a fixed aperture! It would seem they both wanted different approaches to instant photography exposure and I love the contrast between them.
The USB4AMI now has Commodore 1351 mouse support for the #C64! This is the proportional mouse mode, not the mouse as joystick stuff (though I can add that if you like).
Tomorrow. Commodore answers!
Note about Instax Film - You get more than enough information in 90 seconds to see if you got the exposure, but the final details and colors take around 24 hours to fully cook. So wait a day to scan them! This photo was just shot a few minutes before posting. Come back tomorrow to see the results.
I am changing. I miss the process of things. The world became too automated for me. Time for something lo-fi.
I chose to jump into the Fujifilm Instax Mini format. Back to film! Bought 2 cameras (they compliment each other in features), and my creative mind has exploded! WOW!

The Thomson TO7-70 came with a built-in light pen, because in the 1980s the future clearly involved pointing directly at your TV screen. Decades later, after touchscreens conquered the world, it turns out the French were simply a little ahead of schedule.
