The first arc of the Bill Willingham and Lilah Sturges-written Justice Society of America was a hit for me. Quirky and fun with distinct voices for a variety of characters and lots of action. The latter was helped hugely by Jesus Merino, who didn’t flinch at a huge cast or big fight scenes.
