That said, nothing can compare to the welcome I got at @workersgallery.bsky.social.The sincerity and passion from the other speakers, those I drew in the book, was really moving. It told me what I hadn’t fully understood: that Noisy Valley has achieved something meaningful for the community.

Yesterday I witnessed something extraordinary: the author Sarah Wynn-Williams sitting silent on a stage at @hayfestival.bsky.social. And she got a standing ovation. I hope the attempt to censor her backfires magnificently. I have just ordered her book. www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

The Rebellion! exhibition on protest is now open at Newcastle City Library and will be there until the end of August. There’s a great cafe next to the exhibition and the zine can be bought in the shop on the floor below.

You can visit the Rebellion! exhibition on protest at Newcastle City Library from tomorrow. First impression from visitors yesterday is that it’s going to stimulate a lot of debate and people seemed fascinated by the video.
