When it comes to weapons in games:
I much prefer a limited of select weapons per each type that have different properties such as power, speed, range and moveset, rather than bloating the game with like 100s of weapons you just replace...
Unless the game is specifically designed for it like BL
Since the new game is a remake of 64, the should call it Starfox 67
Elden Ring kinda did the whole bloated selection right by having a lot of unique animations, but they also had issues of dozens of weapons having the same moveset so it felt samey.
I dont like when games gives you a different weapon that has objectivly better stats than your starter weapon.
Like lets say you have a shotgun, but later you find a 2-shooter, its got more range and power but you sacrifice ammo capacity and cc spread at closer to mid-range.
