One of my favorite bits of recent literature is not just *Black Brane,* but specifically the description of Daladara, who sketches all and only the things he spies along a road-bound journey, specifically those ones coincident with the clacking of certain beads. What fun! @michaelcisco.bsky.social
I dislike the equating of slop generation to laziness bc laziness actually has value. Lazy art still expresses the artist, and laziness can often breed cleverness, something not possible with sloppers, though they believe they're clever bc a program told them so.
Slop use is a desire to be served.
