(1/2) This #RefugeeWeek, we are calling for the suspension of #FamilyReunification to be lifted. The burden of separation is immense. Parents live in constant worry for their children’s well-being, and children grow up without the stability of their parents’ presence.
(2/2) We are also offering survivor- or migrant-led organisations (with four or fewer paid staff members) discounted rates of £25 per person or a bundle for £100. Email us at [email protected]
Domestic work happens behind closed doors, making it one of the most invisible forms of labour exploitation. So what can be done to make these situations more visible and safer for workers? Read our full blog here: www.atleu.org.uk/cases-news/i...
(1/2) The theme of this #RefugeeWeek is ‘#courage’. So we wanted to take a moment to highlight the most courageous people we know. Having experienced human trafficking and migration, our changemakers are now fighting for the rights of others who have been through the same.
(1/2) Hear directly from those with lived experience of the system in our next training session on quality support and legal advice. This session is co-produced and co-delivered by two trainers from ATLEU’s Changemakers. Book your spot now: www.atleu.org.uk/training
(2/2) To us, there is nothing more courageous than surviving one of the most devastating crimes and choosing to stand up and keep fighting for justice for others. A huge thank you to our Changemakers today and every day. Learn more about our lived experience work: www.atleu.org.uk/lived-experi...
(2) If we are serious about tackling modern slavery, we must focus on recovery as well as rescue and recognition, and create a system that truly supports survivors. This means restoring autonomy, dignity and the right to family life. Join our cause, sign up for our newsletter www.atleu.org.uk#signup
For #RefugeeWeek, members of our survivor groups came together to create a banner inspired by this year's theme: courage 💛
