PRESSURE!
I'm sure you'll have some forecast rationale...
Love the man-horses in this.
Listened to Tom Weaver’s commentary on THE MAN FROM PLANET X today, and Joe Dante’s drop-in about The Man’s cameo in LOONEY TUNES: BACK IN ACTION — including the reveal that the entire Area 52 sequence almost got axed — makes me wish all over again that he had done a full commentary for that.
Watched Edgar G. Ulmer's 1949 swashbuckler THE PIRATES OF CAPRI this afternoon and, as sometimes happens, was pleasantly surprised by the scene midway through featuring a pair of black-hooded torturers. That makes this the 768th film in which I've clocked someone in a hood.
Is this what people mean by “quiet quitting”?
My list isn’t nearly as impressive, but my four-hour-plus theatrical experiences include:
SÁTÁNTANGÓ (432m)
CHE (269m)
MYSTERIES OF LISBON (266m)
OUT 1: SPECTRE (253m)
HAMLET (242m)
A BRIGHTER SUMMER DAY (237m — close enough!)
Reposting this moment from GODZILLA VS. MEGALON since I can now do the whole thing as a series:
Watched PRESSURE last night. Now maybe — just maybe — that Billy Joel song will stop popping into my head.
