We really shouldn't suggest that this has anything to do with him being a Trump appointee given the bad behavior of several Obama and Biden appointees in the last few years.

Only the best judges. This is a 9th circuit federal judge from Idaho Falls, nominated by Trump. Judge Nelson, the one in this video, has always been a tool. Here he is on video swiping glasses off someone's face and then stomping on them.
