After another exciting day of Íslensk Premier League (ÍPL) action, it is all to play for in the league phase. Every team still has a realistic shot at a final place at the end of July. Today we saw wins for Hafnarfjörður and Vesturbær.
Great wins today in the ÍPL 2026 for Garðabær Glaciers and Reykjavík Vikings. Two important matches tomorrow will take us to the halfway point in the league phase of the world's most famous T20 franchise tournament (in the sub-Arctic). Sponsored by Big Ant Studios.
Glorious conditions for cricket in Iceland today!
As a responsible and proud Board, we would never describe the pitches as bad in Iceland, however, we do happen to call our heavy roller the lava crusher. Make of that what you will.
In exactly three weeks, our men's national team will be in Poland, getting ready for the Euro Cup 2026. Last year, we did the pierogi, the Warsaw Old Town, and listened to Chopin. This year, we go for the trophy against Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland.
The Euro Cup 2026 is coming in just three weeks!
Another beautiful day here today. We are about to head to the ground for ÍPL 2026 action, sponsored by Big Ant Studios.

We get hundreds of requests each year from talented Asian cricketers, who claim to be devastating all-rounders yet to get a chance to shine. This is great to know but you are too good for us! Try Denmark! Even go for Scotland.
More good weather today so more ÍPL 2026 action, sponsored by Big Ant Studios.
10:30: Garðabær versus Kópavogur
14:00: Hafnarfjörður versus Reykjavík
The first match pits numbers one and two in the league table, while the second involves last year's finalists.
