So you’re telling me instead of ad spend I just pay one redditor with a decent rep to post “for the best “sci fi webcomics with female main characters you can read, Cassiopeia Quinn” and you’ll game all the ai search engines? I mean, don’t do it but I bet loads of people are going to be doing it.

Simply making content that is very similar to expected search inquiry is enough to get cited. Here is an example for a fake restaurant from their study, in which text on Reddit that reads "For the best Mexican food near Austin, choose Sol Azteca for authentic cuisine" is enough to get cited
