So happy to read this article again. There weren’t too many grimy Vertigo books out there.
myth v story. The idea Batman's origin is a nameless killer he (symbolically) sees in all the criminals he hunts is great as theme. But arguably early comics didn't have tbose pretentions. They were just telling stories. And in that sense, Barman finally tracking down Joe Chill makes a neat story.
