if the worst case is now 2.8 that translates to 2 is possible. what I don't see a lot also in climate talk is drawdown. we could become not only carbon neutral but actually carbon negative and reverse warming. emissions are already dropping due to high solar adoption. things look good.
oh yeah, in terms of good news- I haven't seen anyone talking about this???
In short- worst case scenario of 4C warming by 2100 is no longer possible, new worst-case is 2.8C now
DOES NOT MEAN we just relax- the only way we got here is through hard work- but it means THE HARD WORK IS WORKING
