On #TransDayOfRemembrance, we honour the lives of trans & non-binary people lost to violence, neglect and systemic injustice.
We remember Leia Sampson-Grimbly, Charlie Millers and too many others whose lives were cut short.
Our work continues for dignity, safety and justice.
As #NationalHCAW comes to a close, I am reiterating this important message: hate will never win in our great city. Not now, not ever. Unity will always prove stronger than division.
Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay. With Home Office funding, we're supporting trauma-informed services which improve the mental health of asylum seekers in London- recognising the deep, difficult impact of their journeys and stories.
London stands for compassion, dignity and care.
