Looking into how I can visit one of most isolated regions on Earth for story research. It's so isolated I need special exemptions. Seems insurmountable logistically and financially atm, but the story won't leave me alone. Like an itch I can't scratch. Maybe I'll find a way at some point...
Now rewatching ALIEN NATION, on Prime. Caan and Patinkin are so much fun in this. A remake stalled out five or so years ago, but I'm still hoping we get it one day.

I know I am late to the party, but 100 pages into @stephengrahamjones.com's The Buffalo Hunter Hunter, it feels like a stone-cold classic. So hard for me to not analyze something from a writer's perspective, but am effortlessly engrossed as pure reader, which is nice. The prose is so damn great.
