Over 500 volunteers have worked with WTA in the Teanaway to turn the trails into the finished projects they are today.
WTA and our partners are now focusing on Aspen Grove, with plans to complete the work by the end of 2026.
A new Teanaway trailhead and 18 miles of trail — a victory 13 years in the making!
Special thanks to @wadnr.bsky.social and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife for their joint management of the Teanaway Community Forest and for making this trail system possible.
The new trailhead offers access to Frog Pond, Cheese Rock and connects to the Towns to Teanaway trail system on Cle Elum Ridge.
Amenities include picnic tables, a mountain bike repair station, a hitching post, two ADA-accessible toilets and room for 65 vehicles (including horse trailers).
