This is so damn true and also makes me wish once again that more American politicians would embrace the multicultural joy of the USA, especially the cities. It's fucking great and it's every bit as "Real America" as any rural small town

seeing the posts about visitors discovering that you can walk around most of our cities and just be yourself in a multicultural setting, discovering tailgating, starting impromptu block parties, my muslim mayor, etc. etc. it's corny to say it but that's our secret sauce. and it means something
