The amount of times I hear: "I'm going to have to deviate from my preregistered analysis so what's the point?" or "preregistration limits my creativity" To which my responses are, "yes but it's informative to know where and why you deviated" and "get out of my office now" respectively.
It's nice to see some pushback, like this rejoinder, against the use of behavioral economics tasks to measure aggression, as they were "designed to study economic competition" and have not been validated as meaningful proxies of antagonistic and aggressive behavior. www.pnas.org/doi/epub/10....
Really looked around LinkedIn for the first time in a while and holy cow, the amount of pro-AI posts and posts/pics explicitly made with AI (and absent any critique of doing so) tells me that it will never be the social media place for me.
