Just spent the day transcribing interviews and the hardest person to decipher is myself. Also, transcription software does not like working-class Dubs.
Yesterday I discussed the initial results of my research project on student use of GenAI at Maynooth's Teaching and learning showcase. A few interesting findings include much less use amongst arts and humanities students, clear ethical concerns and a thirst for more knowledge about GenAI.
Delighted my article exploring the early development of Telephony in Ireland has been published in Irish Economic and Social History journal. It explores the multitude of factors that shaped the development and use of this technology. It's Open Access. doi.org/10.1177/0332... #hstm #HistTech
