The Extinction Committee voted to give the oil industry permission to harm and kill imperiled species across the Gulf of Mexico. Because of the committeeâs vote, whales, sea turtles, fish, rays, manatees, corals, and birds are now without protection. We'll see them in court.
The administration just moved to allow oil and gas companies in the Gulf of Mexico to ignore endangered species protections.
