I tell y'all how much I hate Anthrocon's hotel system, Orchid? Orchid gives you a hotel confirmation number eventually, but it's not standardized to your hotel chain's confirmation number system, so the only way you can do anything is by calling the hotel first. It's 2026, this is hell.
Oh. My doG. @anthrocon.org's hotel reservation system is still so bad.
They don't make it easy to change or even simply SEARCH for other available rooms after you book a hotel in the sticks. Gotta cancel your current room first or register another badge. Cons are more hassle than fun these days. 😓
