" It's nothing, really. " said Baizhu, who was now disinfecting his hands and tools. The wound was stitched expertly and bandaged to keep germs away.
" May I ask for your name, miss ? "
A strange predicament. Buy Baizhu was fairly comfortable around his other self. He didn't seem to mean any harm.
" Me too. It's strange. Do you think one of us came from a parallel universe ? "
Baizhu looked up at her. " An outlander. " he commented, but didn't seem too concerned. The Traveller was the same and Baizhu was their friend.
" You don't owe me anything, miss. This is my job. And my desire to help those in need. "

Dan Heng's tail flicked slowly, but he released a soft exhale. He knew the area wasn't deserted, but he's been slightly caught off guard by it
"It's fine. I was just lost in my task."

He wasn't being observed, per say. But Baizhu had taken notice of the other man in the distance. He was only approaching because he'd seen the herb he was looking for near the other.
" Greetings. I'm sorry if I startled you. "
"You... You'll probably call me insane but... I'm from a place beyond the sky."
She explained shyly, obviously nervous.
"I'm forever in your debt."
Her voice a whisper, she thanked him numerous times.
She nodded after his remark, sighing softly.
When he spoke afterwards, she felt her heart tightening. So much kindness.
"Thank you. So much."
She repeated even after he was done.

Still not figured out why there were two of them, Baizhu just let it flow.
He watched his twin tiredly resting on his lap, curious.
