Above-average humidity in the greater Houston area is forecast to cause maximum heat indices above 100 degrees this weekend, ahead of heavy rain chances for Sunday and Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
The maximum heat index, or feels-like temperature, is forecast to reach 109 on Friday, 106 on Saturday and 105 on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
