Introducing atmoq: the first implementation of an atproto relay using Media-over-QUIC instead of WebSockets! Try it out:
cargo install atmoq
atmoq firehose --ops --moq-host 'https://streamplace.network'
The exciting part about this to me is that it works over existing MOQT infrastructure with no changes. Rather than build out bespoke fanout services for atproto data, we can piggyback on the same infra being used for next-generation video distribution. Works out-of-the-box with Cloudflare's CDN.
