Note: I am listing *my* favorites. Not his best work. I am a child of the 80s. And over half of these films are very, very close to my heart. Amistad and Schindler's List (among others) are historic, important films, but heartbreaking and really tough to watch.

A big ol' raccoon came out to visit me on the trail today. S/he gazed at me a moment from a few feet away, I said hello, and then the raccoon slowly waddled to some bushes to await my departure. I felt honored that they were not especially afraid of me. 🖤🩶🤍🦝🤍🩶🖤
It is hilarious listening to the NBA podcasters who had predicted a 2026 Spurs championship debating whether they were wrong. Dudes, you were wrong. The Spurs lost. I'm sorry.
